Inspirational, Doyle- I found myself singing "Sunriiiise suuunrise" and then I found out that it was due to your photo*LOL*
What a beautiful impressionistic sky to wake up to, but 04:00? That´s early! Asger wakes up at 05:30 and we think that´s early*LOL*

Thanks Michele . . . and . . . well (sguiggles toe in beach side sand) . . . ok, I confess to being spoiled. Marlyce usually tells me the same thing!
I get up at 4 am . . . sunrise (lazy Mother Nature) sleeps in a tad bit more. By sunrise (at about 6:10 am currently) I have done more work than most US Marines do all day. LoL!
The motion you perceive (Ms. Eagle eyes) is there! These were Northern clouds sweeping rapidly down the coast with (gasp) sprinkles!! You could literally watch them moving.

There are only two reasons to be up at 4:00am (zero dark-thirty as I call it)...one, to get to the airport 'cause I'm going on vacation (which is not often enough)...two, fishing (again, not often enough)...no other reason, period. Despite the beauty you have captured Doyle, I still find no reason to be up at that UNGODLY hour...I'll depend on you to show me what sunrise looks like, 'kay?

Think you're right about that Tom. Still learning . . . but WOW are there a lot of settings (bells and whistles) I can program and play with. This shot is a user programmed Bank 'A' which does a vivid color and other, several other, in-camera settings I programmed on the advice of another photographer for landscapes. One flip turns on all the A settings where I want them . . . then another and they're back off.

Wonderful effects from those fast moving clouds my friend and the tones are just stunning. Yellow golds, ambers, burnt oranges and rusty browns with little peeks at the blues.....BEAUTIFUL....
