Did you alter the background or is there a piece of glass behind her?

James,

The background was a silver reflector board, altered only by giving it a crescent shape around the model.

The boards or "show cards" are very popular with still life photographers. They come in various sizes and textures and are not very expensive They can be cut and shaped to fit the situation and can be purchased at the Set Shop in NYC, which specializes in backgrounds, props and accessories.

Worth a look online at www.setshop.com.

Regards, Bill

Thanks. I'll check it out.
