About I would have needed Marcus here to really make good use of this pond...plus his awesome lens. I could not get anywhere near enough with the 18-200mm Nikon lens to make this a bird shot. Just the same the overall landscape is breathless and the pink Flamingos were just one more reason to be enchanted with Argentina's phenomenal Parks and Rangelands.

Great depth to this shot, Tim! I like the way the water leads right into it.

Wow. Awesome. Love the lead in with the river and the lighting on the side of the hill just adds to it. Well taken. John

Excellent work Tim - Great colours and compostion. The outline of the water in the middle almost an mirror image of the mountain in the background. Well taken!

... simply breath taking.

Tim, this is one of my favourites! That butte in the background is so interesting with the deep clefts that are eroded there and you can sure feel the strong Patagonian winds buffeting the grass and causing ripples in the water. Great, great shot.

Steve Aronoff   {K:18393} 5/31/2007
This is a spectacular shot, Tim. The clarity and depth are terrific, and the palette is wonderfully rich. And the low perspective you took works extremely well in this fine composition. There are only a couple of minor changes that I would like to see. There is some chromatic aberration where the hill meets the sky. That can be easily adjusted. Also, I think the hills in the distance on the left are too blue. You could also easily fix that. (example below) Other than those two very minor points I have nothing but praise for this beautifu shot.
