Tree things catch my attention in this stunning shot.
1 -The fantastic colors of the water, very well explored by the photographer choosing the righ equipament and the best hour to explore the most your subject - in the case the color of the water -
2 - The composition working very well the third's rule and the diagonal making a very well balanced photo.
3- The beautiful place - I'd like to be there :-(.
One thing I don't like is the clouds in the sky but this is a very personal choice and I know sometimes is impossible to get a clean sky.

I think you chose wise with the 17 mm It lets you draw the attention towards the subject very well in this shot. Good job my friend. The contrast between the sand and the water/sky is wonderful. Another beauty. Another favorite going in my file!

Hi Vincent,
This is my "dreampicture" and you have captured it! Wow... those colors... you are so very lucky to live in a place like this and to be able to make photo's of it. I am very fond of the sea and the beach and once a year I go for a short vacation to the shore in my own country, The Netherlands. Our beaches are not so spectacular "colored" but have their own beauty. But this picture.....well.... I keep on dreaming. Just BEAUTIFUL!

People on the beach set this pic apart. I just think that like a lot of the master landscape painters, there needs to be a point of interest that puts us in the picture. Describing what you went through to get the picture you wanted is helpful, especially in the computer assisted photography era where the color of the water can be adjusted without a trip to the beach.
