About Our potted palms have always fascinated me... mainly the area where the fronds leave the main truck... The patterns, colour and texture is different in each of them... Macro, levels, unsharp mask and crop...

Amazing! It reminds me of very old clothes or even people found in the swamps around in Europe.
Fascinating stuff, Onie.
Take care
Annemette

Michele Carlsen   {K:134273} 5/2/2007
Nice image and interesting point Onie--- I guess this would be why palm leaves were used as clothing and for construction in our history--- Your focus and dof are both well taken :)) Ooohhhhh and love that tone and detail !!!!

Michele~

Joggie van Staden   {K:41275} 5/6/2007
Quite a monster emerging from that bark Leonie - the type of texture that would really work well in B&W!

Leonie Fitzpatrick   {K:40299} 5/10/2007
~~GRIN~~ Susie... You made me laugh... I think if I were to read palms, with me being a talker... AND one that tends to ramble all over the place... You're reading may end up the size of a verbal edition of Homer's Iliad... Interesting, but LONG!!!... and that's with or without silver ;)))

Glad you enjoyed kind lady, thank s heaps... :)))

Onie...
