pictures of famous places eh? - lovely shot lori. i love that part of the world - great country!
PS happy with your d80?

Lori Stitt   {K:74598} 5/4/2007
Thought 'famous places' was good for a laugh, Dennis! :)

I am really loving the D80, after so many years of using the film Hasselblad........now this one 'feels' like a camera, rather than the small digitals I've been using.

Have a GR8 day/evening,
Lori :)

Well, well, well. Look who showed up in Texas. And back on UF! Guess this means you've bit the bullet and moved, ey?

You'll find that shooting these small TX towns can be a full-time job. Not to mention just plain fun. There's not a whole lot to take in TX anyway.

These are always some of my favorite subjects, the old 1920s gas stations that still stand. Good job.

Dave

Thanks Dave, yes, bit the bullet and so far I don't regret it for a minute. Love where we are living, lots to do, and visit a lot with granddaughter and her family. It IS different here.

I also love old buildings, so I'll have lots to do for awhile. Don't remember what part of TX you were in, but we've seen some neat countrysides here and south of Austin also.

How come you don't have any new images on UF??

Have a good one,
Lori :)

Lori, I was in Dallas, in one of the burbs. Hated it. There's much to like about TX... but not much to like about Dallas.

And I managed to post four new photos over the weekend... just been too busy with work and not taking enough time to play.

Dave

All work and no play makes Dave a dull guy!!
Got to take some time for yourself also!
I'll go check out the new pix!
Lori :)
