About I passed this cat while I was out walking yesterday and managed to get a few photographs. I had a few general 'portrait'-style ones, but this one was nice and sharp so I thought I'd crop it down and concentrate on the detail. Not sure about it though. Thoughts???

I think it's a captivating shot. Excellent detail and great colour. Good job!

Very carefully and effectively composed. I like the way the fur around the eye is sharp, as are the whiskers as they lead across the increasingly blurry furry(!) background.

You've almost managed to hold the detail in the bright spot around the nose. This is something I have been having great trouble with recently and an aspect I am working hard on!

Overall this is a very appealing shot - nice one.
