Mary - Lighting is super and really like the fact that this was not posed - what a precious memory for you and one your grand-daughter will cherish when she is older. Now you really need to get someone to take a photo of you, your Mom, and your Grandaughter all together - or set your camera up yourself and use the timer. Take a few in black and white to - those are really archival and will last for 100's of years.
So nice to see you uploading again - but so very difficult to believe that a year has gone by so fast. Seems like just yesterday that you posted her almost newborn photos! Jan

Precious image - sure your granddaughter will cherish this forever! So natural and espressive. Pity the red-eye-removal left the little angel's pupils a tag too white - you can colour them in slightly , just leaving the spots of the reflection of light. Marvelous shot, nevertheless.

Ohhh MAry this is THE most excellent portrait-- Your 'about' was soo heart-warming it did bring tears to my eyes:) Happy Ones.... They are both in their own worlds and their expressions are both Pricelsss- Exposure and clarity are PERFECT TOO!!!! I Love this beautiful memory- 7/7

Taking such a portrait can´t be arranged, Mary, and still appear so full of warmth and devotion.
A moment between generations that indeed shows the great importance of familybonds and having the youngest generation spend time with the oldest. Having her greatgrandmother is a gift that is rare at least in Denmark where we have our children late in life.
Thanks for sharing a heartwarm moment.
