About I saw this cat, sitting in the dappled light, blending in so well, and was fortunate to have my camera.

Very nice capture.
I love the contrast on this as you can definitely see the cat, but only if you look closely.
Great eye to see this.
Great colors and focus!

Thanks Riny! SO good to hear from you again! I've been busy and fell so far behind!

Hi,You are so right about the colors and lighting. This could go in one of those childrens books where you are supposed to find the hidden animal. From the thumbnail I never saw the cat so wondered about the title. Nice to see you posting again. Del.

Dave Stacey   {K:113245} 5/9/2007
You're right, Rebecca, the cat does blend right in, but I also like your composition of the steps with the shadows on them.
Dave.

I couldn't FIND it. LOL.

Concentricity?????

John Hatz   {K:138159} 5/11/2007
That is a great image, very nice colors and generaly mood of old and ruined...and the cat's colors composed to that! Not sure if that image can be in that category - project but that is not surely something that I critique, not at all, the image is beautiful.
Best regards!

yo,Poe!...nice to see you pop in again...i should talk since i renewed, but haven't posted in ages...LOL...uh, think your mouse slipped when chose the project unless i am missing something?...concentricity refers to sharing the same center like the circles within circles in patterns on water, and well, you know and i figure your mouse ran amuck!...LOL...

i love your signature darker contrast level here and the dappled light is very appealing...that cat is definitely camo with its surroundings!

maybe i will get back to posting again soon...
hope all is going well with you,gurl...~Shameless

Such beautiful lighting, colors and textures in this shot, and of course the cat adds a nice story. Alison

Exquisite light. Beautiful composition and colours.

Love the earthy tones, the detail of the decaying concrete stairs. Such wonderful contrast with the gorgeous long hair cat sitting there apparently unaware of how he stands out against the background.
