Just full of cheerfullness(is that a word?) and standing out in such a bright and special way like a small invitation to sth. good.

Patrick Crowther   {K:13570} 5/10/2007
This is rather a sad image for me, Annemette as it reminds me of my drinking days when I used to have fun when I was monged ('monged' = pissed out of my brain). It was so strange... I found this padded plastic beer tankard in a gutter and rescued it... it has now joined my growing collection of lost ephemera that is cluttering up my home.

Then I should not have erased the last words I wrote about this being a bright invitation taking one away from the darkness.
Never forget that you´re young and alive.

Remember that this is the time to create memories! Not only when you´re just a teenager or a boy in school - those days were fun but you probably also had some really bad days back then.
Now you can decide for yourself, you can choose your own path and friends, life is here and now - don´t wait until you´re 80 to embrace life.

I'm trying, Annemette... I'm trying.

Annemette Rosenborg Eriksen   {K:55401} 5/10/2007
I know, dear Patrick. Just never stop trying. The trick is to always look at yourself in a wider perspective and realize that worries and bad experiences don´t really count that much in the whole picture- to take a decision to be strong and positive. I´ve needed to do this and it helps:-)

I cant drink anymore either Patrick. The fun times I had while drinking ended up being replaced by dark horrible times. I haven't drank in 22 years.

My experience exactly, Janet. I'm five years and counting... but I do miss the good times...
