Where did you find this, Patrick?! Absolutely stunning! From a distance I get the sense that itīs a nude female from the Renaissance lying there surrounded by golden pillows. This is a magic world inviting the spectator to come for a walk. A favourite.

You never cease to amaze me, Annemette! You wrote 'This is a magic world inviting the spectator to come for a walk.' This was taken on a stretch of beach by the Thames in London where I've been taking photographs for the last 4 years. Every time I go there I feel like I'm stepping back in time, and in a sense that's exactly what I'm doing... the wise old river deposits fragments from the past on the beach when it feels like it... sometimes something modern, sometimes something ancient. The power of the water moulds and twists and sculpts the detritus of man to form something new... distorted relics from our own past.

I really like this abstract, too, Patrick. The warm browns and tans are set off nicely against the cold greys. Very nice! Steve
