Great shadow and scene. Strangely, I don't know why exactly, I think it would work even better if you were walking away, perhaps that would keep with the mystery of that shadow, perhaps it is that you have created such an inviting light ahead and would like to be lead by your subject there. Was there a landscape version of this with subject to the left. I would have the chance to walk on if that were so.
