About Shot at f5.3 for 1/125 of a second. ISO 100, focal length 95mm.

On the Arizona side of the Hoover Dam, these adorable chipmunks were eating dried fruit and nuts from the hand of a tourist. I couldn't resist snapping a few shots of them. Hope you enjoy it.

Cute little buggers you caught Laura. After many trips out to the dam from our home in Vegas, I didn't realize these little guys were in the area. I've seen big horn sheep, coyotes, and rattle snakes but these seem to have escaped me. Thanks for sharing.

It's amazing how domesticated these can become over the years.
Wonderful shot with excellent exposure!

It is a weird coincidence that I was just about to comment on this picture when I got your comment. I saw your name when you were commenting on someone else's picture and popped over to see what you were up to. I guess the USEFILM community is smaller in some ways than we think.
In any event, what caught my eye was the hand feeding theme and earlier I had seen a photo posted today by Joe Brown, showing a bird eating from his wife's hand. Then I ran across this precious moment with these cute little creatures eating from a hand as well. They are cute little beggars and no doubt used to entertaining the visitors with their antics and gentle ways.
The rear end on the one facing away is worth the price of admission for this picture. Excellent that you were ready to get this one and share it.
--Best to you, Jan

Amazing little creatures - great exposure - well done for including the colours of the fruit - think you could have cropped the wrist away, and eliminated the top right shadow in the process - charming image nevertheless.

So thats what a chipmunk looks like. Sort of a smaller version of a squirrel. Very tame as well to be eating out a persons hand. Great shot!

Daisy the squirrel takes a rest.
