You can shoot VERY close John !!!! I don't think I have ever seen a macro butterfly quite this close before- but excellent clarity and composition !!! Really nice image - so very well done :) 7/7

Thanksa Michele, believe me, see that lens, Sigma 150mm is very good for its money...I am not a rich guy and so I try always to buy the best with less money, it is an amazing lens and works also with converter (and so with it goes at f/45 that is superb for macros)

John-- If you got any closer you would have poked the little fellow in the eye. :) :)
This is a superb example of a macro-macro and the Sigma, even with a converter, held the detail extremely well. Excellent work here.

Thanks Jan....lol, thanks God macro lenses cannot be closer than 24cm haha :-D But still that lens is so big that it is difficult to go closed to any animal without scary it...except of ants that cannot see it! :-)
