Great capture Dave. Excellent composition, sharp focus. Why the monotone Dave? Looks like a nice sunny day, it's has a great up-beat theme, there are wild flowers in the tall grass, in my mind all these things and more are diminished by the lack of colour.

Hi Dave,
I like the composition. It does tell the story of anticipation of summer. I also agree with Joe as far as using the original bright colours in this case. It would be interesting to see the colour version.

An excellently captured moment in a well balanced composition and sepia tones! Add the great DoF and there we are a fantastic image, which could only get better by a bit more sharpness/contours of the girl itself.
