About This picture is dedicated to my good friend Ashok who opened my eyes to the magnificent world of birding by ear.
Also I want to thank you for helping me to capture this wonderful Lazuli Bunting.
I look forward the next birding trip with Bill Walker.
Warm regards.

Wow! Lighting perfect. Composition perfect. Subject perfect.
Looks like a studeo shot.
Awsome photo Yamil.
This one deserves an award.

Thank you Richard,
I really appreciate your words.
One week ago I did not know much about Lazuli's. Today, I am one of their biggest fans.
Take care.

Precioso pajarito, estupendos colores en su plumaje y excelente retrato!

A beautiful shot of this "little" guy Yamil!
I don't think we have any bird with that beautiful turquoise colour that is native to Ontario. But we do have several with that iridescence that you wrote about.
A very nice composition!

Thank you Andre,
Besides the Lazulis', we have 3 more representatives of what I call "Nature's Blue Period". They are the Blue Grosbeak and the Mountain Bluebird (I don't have pics of these guys- not yet)and the Western Bluebirds. Take a lool at this 2 pics

But the Lazuli's are my favorite blue/turquoise bird.
For now I am going to let them in peace. My next target are the Oriole's.
Take care.

Yamil,

A stunning bird captured with your usual excellence. We get these up here as a rare visitor, but I have yet to see one. I love the colors, in the bird and BG!

Hi Yamil,
Good luck with the Orioles. They are beautiful birds too, but very quick. They are here this time of year too. I have yet to get a decent shot of one myself.
Andre
