Common argiope garden spider. No one knows what the zig-zags are for. But the spiders hang out very prominently, in the center of the 'zags'. If you disturb them, they crawl right back into the center. Others just have a zig-zag up and down. And some spiders have huge 'fluffy' heads, etc. But they hang right out in the open, face down, and I think are found most all over the globe.

I think as CC, I'd say it's a bit soft on its back. But you could easily sharpen to taste with software. Shouldn't be a problem. Nice to see this photo.
