Wonderful shot! Interesting colours and focal points. I love the way this photo works. I get drawn to one blossom then to the other then back again then to the leaf and the details on the tip of leaf then back to the blossoms. Kudos

Thanks for your kind comment, Lydia. You are right in observing that the technique is to focus on three different spots at the same time and using a shallow DOF. I did not use a tripod but oriented myself while looking through the camera. It is then a matter of rocking back and forth in manual focus and tripping the shutter at the right moment. It takes a little practice! It is also necessary to have sufficient shutter speed and/or image stabilization to avoid motion blur. Eb
