A very good capture but even the main subject is strong I wish the other man from the right side not to be there, I see a bit discordance between them.
Anyway I like it!

yes it is definiately better this way. But otherwise it is a very moody and beautiful picture with or without cropping. Good work, well done!

Perfect atmosphere created by the perfect lighting/toning and the immense DoF, Saintz! The moment is captured in a very expressive way!
The composition might have been purer without the boy at the rigt, since it somehow contradicts the rather strong atmosphere of solitute to have more than one persons on such an image. Also, that white scratch at the bottom should be cloned off. I add an attachment for a better demonstration fo the suggestion.

Without the young man coming from the right and the white scratch lower right...the shot would be a perfect composition, very moody and in the best tonality!
