About A fourfold exposure of some graffiti on a train. The graffiti was covering unfortunately only a small part of the train, and so I thought, let's make it a full wall using a fourfold exposure.

I never understood why the authorities have so much against that kind of urban artistic expression.

Nice abstract full of colours and forms. Graffiti is fascinating and pleasantly unexpected when artistic people with a message does them. When done by every teenager just to be cool making ugly tags then I also oppose to this vandalism of old beautiful architecture and so forth.
In Athens I saw some great graffiti made by someone talented, who had messages for people, and it was done in places that were not destroyed by it. It added something neat to the city.
Best wishes
Annemette

It is like collage, rather artistic and yet unusual. I have to give 7 :)

Beautiful colors, another beautiful work in multi exposure.

Hi Diego, and thank you very much for your nice comment. As about the description, always feel free to ask anything about any photo, in case I write too little in the about box.

So let's do some photographic graffities squeezing all the possibilities out of our cameras, and see what the authorities will say ;-)

Best wishes,

Nick

Thanks a lot for the nice and detailed comment, Annemette.

With vandalism you must mean those guys that smear their name or "just something" on a statue. This is indeed not artistic expression, exactly as senseless photo shooting of "something" isn't. The parallels are obvious.

But the real graffiti guys do extraordinary work, that in addition does make some grey concrete walls or the trains much more interesting. The boring uniformity is avoided this way. And since they do it for free most of the time, I would rather expect for example the railway companies to be glad that their trains get some distinct look. But perhaps also many of the messages reveal too much of the shallow uniformity and compliance to the mindless rules of business that any company seems to obey?

I'll be posting some series with real good graffiti work in Lucerne soon. I would be very interested to know what the impressions of the people here are.

Cheers,

Nick
