About Shooting across the Baltimore Inner Harbor I noticed this building that employs ripple glass for its windows.
This was taken at a considerable distance.

Interesting abstract, Jan. I wish the traingular part of roof (?) on the top right could have been avoided. But I know how it is, sometimes.

Good effort, sir !!

cheers !

Thanks and I agree, Avi. I tried cropping it down but that disturbed the rest of the composition so I had to leave it in. I thought about doing something to the light space but had second thoughts and decided finally to post it "as is". There were no other angles I could get as I was many blocks distant from the building, shooting across the inner harbor water.

Hesham -- Thanks so much for your kind remarks!!

Wayne -- Thanks so much. The yellow in the reflection is the early morning sun shining on an adjacent building. The rippled glass is reflecting an image of that building.
--Best to you, Jan

I just reckon that yellow building could look good in its own right - great colour.

Wayne -- It would have looked great -- if I had the foresight at the time to photograph it. :) :)

Wayne -- I just went through my skyline photos shot at the same time and I think the small tower building on the right of the attached photo is what is being reflected. I am not 100% sure about this.

Jan, that's an interesting building in it's own right. It does look about the right colour.

very well seen, excellent lines here; Jan, Why the image is so small?
txules

Jan Hoffman   {K:39306} 6/11/2007
Thanks, Txules. I agree that the image is too small. I was shooting directly with a point and shoot that day and some of the pictures, when re-sized to 850 or less pixels were still way too big in file size to post to Usefilm. I could have re-sized the canvas first but saw a problem with loss of detail so I went ahead and posted them in a smaller size.
--Best to you, Jan

Jan Hoffman   {K:39306} 6/11/2007
Thanks, Michele. It was the color that first caught my eye.
--Best regards, Jan
