John Hatz   {K:139710} 6/13/2007
Excellent job, I think you 'use' that gass fire at the best way I ever seen before, stunning, I could say also that looks like with the supernova named the cat's eye, a nebula... very impressive little lines into the fog like azure area, great scales of the tone that ends to the black, fantastic!!! Congratulations for the very nice artworks!!!
Cheers!

Nick Karagiaouroglou   {K:89303} 6/18/2007
It is such a pity that the thumb does not correspond at all to the Lissajous like figures of this image! I expected only a shining blue cloud in the darkness when I clicked on the thumb, which would be interesting enough for itself, but the image exceeded my expectations by far!

It could be some strange inhabitant of the deep sea, or some even stranger graphical representation of an abstract mathematics relation, which turns the contemplation on: Why does mathematics seem to be the language of nature?

Again a very creative work that does not carry at all any of those coincidental elements that are already "arts" for many too many people here and elsewhere. I have to ask, really, how did you achieve that?

And also I have to ask, perhaps a more tight cropping? (See attachment.)

Keep it up!

Nick

Tighter crop

mahassa bahri   {K:10934} 6/18/2007
thank you sooo much for the kind words Nick,
and as for how I achieved this, I should say this one is a luxagraphic shot and there's almost no PS here.and about the crop,my dear Nick, I would first thank you for the suggestion and then tell you that I, personally prefer the one with more black space around it. the black area is what makes the blue come out.thanks again...
all the best to you, mahassa

Nick Karagiaouroglou   {K:89303} 6/19/2007
So, is it perhaps luxagraphic work of the fire of a gas oven? I wish I could move the camera so smoothly like these lines of light motion imply.

As about the crop, I don't really know on which one the blue comes out better. Perhaps I am too eager to have those lines big and prominent more than enough.

Best wishes,

Nick

mahassa bahri   {K:10934} 6/19/2007
yes, perhaps my dear...anyway there are always different tastes!! Aren't there?
