About The only piece of the old Pike that was saved. The Pike was a famous amusement park in Long Beach California when I was a teenager in the 60's. A kind of west coast Coney Island place. It has been torn down and replaced by condos. Some day when they raise some money they plan on restoring this old building. Somehow, I don't believe it will ever happen.

What a sad image.
These are the things that we need to be preserving now before they have a chance to knock it down!

Wonderful capture.
Great colors, and nice contrast of new and old with the condos in the background!

Some times photographs is all that we have to remember the past. The sample about with The Pike is all too common in So Cal.
