Real nice Jason, looks like you caught him by surprise. What beautiful colourful birds right outside your place. I guess once they all get singing it does make a lot of noise, in any event, hope your are enjoying your 300 F4 and 1dMKII. Best regards to down under from up north. I have only two minor critiques, a) the lighting seems harsh but probably it was mid to afternoon and you had no control on it, a morning shot would have been nice though and b) I would have cropped out more of the bottom of the image.

Jason: Great shot! We weren't able to get close to any of these type birds in Costa Rica although they flew overhead many times. Thanks for your comments on the hummers.
