Thank-you for your thoughts my dear friend. I have just picked up your message on a library computer.
My job came to an end and at my age I will attempt to retire gracefully. I had hoped to continue work into my seventies but my employers closed down our production unit and moved too far away for my liking.
Ian's condition is no better, of course, but the acceleration is fairly slow so we are grateful for this small mercy. He is in fine spirits and rarely lapses into self pity.....what a guy. Now that I am workfree I get to see more of him and he spends a lot of his time at our place but he still likes to maintain as much independence as possible.
Photography is still mainly in the garden but I always grab my camera and general purpose lens if Ian and I go down to the coast for the day (something that he loves doing) but as to posting on UF I just don't seem to find the time.
Thank-you for remembering me Doyle, I will try to stay in touch as and when time permits. My very best wishes to you, Marnie and the whole family.........Ray
