What a super image and you're right I can see fireworks. Great colors, DOF, and focus is right where it should be. Grand finale to your use of your camera. Must be an interesting flower when it is in full bloom. Did you happen to take one when it was fresh?

I have the same problem MAry - I have not successfully taken an image of 'fireworks'. I do see the comparison in your flower after the bloom was gone tho ...

Absolutely original shot, really a so unique flower...well flower, plant anyway, I really have not seen that before, excellent image, hope if that shot have being shoted with a smaller aperture but that is not something bad, it is great as it is and the way the top parts viewed so strongly as roundly everything is blur makes the result also artistique!

Quite a few flowers look their photographic most interesting after the colorful bloom is gone & you made the most of it. Dry weeds/flowers are my favorites.
