You are so right there Bek...they wish away the years like there is no tomorrow...beautiful capture you have here, and the sepia is wonderful...really suits the shot..nice b/g too :)

Well hi there Miss Lizzie. I hope you are feeling better.
This little cherub is Danielle's (the spilt milk model) daughter, McKayla. She really wasn't keen to frock up for me to begin with, but soon warmed to the idea.
I am pretty happy with the treatments on this one, and the sepia was the icing on the cake for me.
Love the b/g do you? It's meters & meters of crinkly white fabric, clipped, rubber banded and taped to my fridge and a chair...nifty eh? It's near a big window in the kitchen that the morning sun comes thru', was the only decent spot.

This wasn't quite so open weave as cheesecloth, though the grain makes it appear so. I have a fab pair of cheesecloth pants that have lived in my cupboard ever since Adelaide was a bub, every now and then they make an appearance, and I could never throw them out.

Larry, your grandchildren have plenty of great portraits from you, you don't need me to take them at all! Ironic you should mention Mum, her and Dad have FINALLY moved into their new house!!! YAY!
She had a stage of frantic last minute packing and of course, once in the house, unpacking. The good news is that her internet was hooked up yesterday, so I don't think it will be too long before you see her back on the pages of UF.
I know she is itching to take some new images, although, without the garden she had, the workshop yard and the rest of her normal haunts, she may have to venture a little further afield to find new subjects. There is no garden at the new place just yet, no other houses around her either.

Yepp, that's sound like my daughter (11). She alwyas wants to wear the cloth from my wife, and though they almost have the same size it fits. ;)
