I was not alone yesterday , it was a work day , and then I took the hike and there were others hiking as it was gorgeous weather... today 'No work' (yahye)) BUT we go to my sisters in the afternoon...It will be fun:)) I always look forward to hearing from You my dear and really loved your first posting from Spain!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Annemette, You recognized the beach alright :)) The sun was soooo bright I felt you could view more detail in sepia than color...the attatched is what I normally post-----

Excellent shot, I love that coastline and the sepia with some overexposed waves gives really the idea of a veeeeeeery old picture, very nice... I could only say it might be better if you left less sky and a bit more grass at the foreground just as a 'note' into the composition.
However it is an excellent shot!

Hi Pablo.... You know I am the fan of color altho I like other people's b+w images...mine I mostly prefer in color.
The main reason I choose sepia for this image was the same reason B+W did not work as well IMO --- too dark and loose too much detail in the mountain on the beach...with sepia I got more detail....
I suppose it is also due to my lens and settings... but this was my reasons.... I didn't want just the silhouette of the mountain...as it was soooooo pretty and had so much detail..... I hope this makes sense ?
I am here to learn and YOU do know sooo much More than myself .... Do you think I made a wrong choice ?
