About This is a shot taken at 11:30 at night of Oak Canyon on the Laguna Reservation. The smaller canyon off to the left (actually center of the photo) is Seboyeta Creek where it meets the Paguate River (or Rio Paguate).

66 second exposure at f4.0, ISO 400. Please note the streaking stars. It is all I could arrange on short notice, sorry.

Beautiful landscape! Nice lighting and color. I like images like these. In our case, we have only flat sandy land only just a 1 meter above sealevel.
Regards, Ahmed

O sea ... toda la luz de la luna??? Uffff... qué maravilla!
Felicitaciones!!

Sí, Alicia, de que es toda la luz de la luna. Extraño cómo dio vuelta a algunas de las rocas rojas. ¡Gracias!

Dave

Thank you, Ahmed. Yes, I can see where you would get bored with your land just as sometimes I get bored with all the mesas here in New Mexico... want to trade places for a couple months?? :)

Could barely find the stars, and if you hadn't told, I would think this was a daylight shot. Very interesting, Dave.:)

Dave Arnold   {K:55613} 7/6/2007
Yup, turned nighttime into daylight, Shirley. If this were a daylight shot, it is terrible... I had no idea what I was seeing, except for being able to make out that there was a canyon there (though I had been there in daylight too). Was pretty pleased with the results.

Thanks,
Dave

Well, these are some fun experiments, and to me, that's what it's all about...trying new things.:) You're welcome, Dave!:)
