How very strange, Paul- yesterday I looked at my daughter´s "løbehjul" and considered making a funny photo, and now you present one here! I absolutely love the perspective and colours that does it for me:-)
Take care
Annemette

Paul Lara   {K:82893} 7/8/2007

Paul, once again another fantastic shot. great perspective and use of the wide lens. Is the background edited/ false/added background?
Avi's comment was so funny..

Paul Lara   {K:82893} 7/8/2007
Yes, Cernan, this was a Photoshop gradient I used in place of the existing background (here's the original shot)

Yeah, Avi's a joker. ;)

Martin .   {K:24527} 7/9/2007
Paul,

Nice fisheye effect ol' friend... ;) I just bought a Tokina 10-17mm yesterday... hehehe

Check your sensor, because you have a couple of specs on it... :(

Wonderful studio work,

Marty

Paul Lara   {K:82893} 7/9/2007
Yeah, I've been needing to clean my sensor for some time, Martin, but Photoshop keeps being very, very good to me. ;)

Thanks for the nudge.

Martin .   {K:24527} 7/9/2007
Paul,

Check the link below, because I carry this product every where I go and use it all of the time... ;)

Quick and easy use, which is a good investment IMHO... hehehe

I have never had to use anything else thank goodness!

Marty

Paul Lara   {K:82893} 7/9/2007
Yeah, I have a large Giotto Rocket, Martin.
It's never done much to budge sensor shmutz for me, but I use it all the time when I'm changing lenses.

Cernan Catig   {K:2896} 7/12/2007
paul, many thanks for posting the original shot. for a beginner like me I am very eager to learn on how a picture was done. many thanks

Chris Boivin   {K:9030} 7/14/2007
Interesting shot Paul. Thanks for the post on how you actually took in. Neat idea.
Chris

great angle.
superb !

Arturs Daukulis   {K:1331} 8/19/2007
mmmm that lens makes fantastic perspective and this is a great example!

Paul Lara   {K:82893} 8/19/2007
Thanks!
I think part of the success is helped by keeping the camera pointed as close to the horizon as possible.

I saw this in my mind, when she came wheeling around the corner, and was laying down on the seamless, which was replaced by a gradient with a tiny bit of shadow thrown in.

Olga Melissa   {K:19396} 8/26/2007
my 7 for this colorful image, great work, excellent perspective.

Paul Lara   {K:82893} 8/26/2007
thank you, Olga!

Nick Lagos   {K:834} 9/10/2007
I love the concept of this Paul....excellent idea and framing....congrats

John Hatz   {K:152703} 1/5/2008
Absolutely amazing point of view, lowers, so the leg looks like... a mile high! (and so she looks tall) the way you makes her into empty from other elements background is nice too...
very enjoy your photos Paul, thanks for making our world more beautiful with these amazing models...
be well!!!

Paul Lara   {K:82893} 1/5/2008
Thanks, John.
I just LOVE how my 10-20 ultra-wide angle can perform this magic. Almost as pleasing as the shot itself is watching the model's face when she sees it. :)

John Hatz   {K:152703} 1/5/2008
ahhhhh... Sigma 10-20? that is a great lens... hope to get it soon... gives great barrel effect and that excactly is that I want, it gives depth into the photos at 10mm!
