Interesting the result, that overexposure here works with a very artistique way on her, especial at the way the face looks like, it's a nice result...you risk on that and you get a very unique result, I like it.
Best regards!

Very nice, like the 'white' and red combination, good compo.

Well done Paul, like the effect and Casey is a pretty lady

This one works. I would have closed it down 1 stop - EXTREME blow out like this works better when clothes aren't part of the deal (I.E. a tighter close up on the face) BUT the expression works and the pose is really good. The EXPRESION and CONTACT with the camera is what makes this work Paul (and then I see you don't have it under fashion when it IS fashion). Good Job, Paul...Mark

;) Very nice!

LOL! I wouldn't consider this fashion because I could never see the designer signing off on an ad that has her creation this over-exposed!

But yeah, Casey connects with the camera for sure.
She certainly shoots well beyond what you'd expect of a 15 year-old. ;)

My Dearest Paul, I'm gonna have to totally disagree. Do me a favor, go on AMAZON.com and look up a book called JACQUES HELLEU & CHANEL (just get to "Books" and type in CHANEL, it will be the top book on page one. Spend the $25.00 (marked down from $125.00) - the deal of the century - and take a look at some of the best Fashion Photography shot by some of the best Fashion Photographers this planet has ever seen. A very large (and HEAVY) "Coffee Table" type book at nearly 300 pages of photos you will find numerous blown out (over exposed), Blurred, EXTREMELY shallow DOF, EXTREME lighting with deep shadows, Cross Processed , and all kinds of other "abnormal" shots that were good enough for CHANEL - one of the top names in Fashion worldwide. Fashion Photography is all about making an emotional connection to the viewer, not technical perfection. This book is a 10 on a scale from 1 to 10, I already have 4 people asking me to order a copy for them.
Now that I've saved you $100.00 you owe me a beer (anything but Budwater or Coors) - lol. I HOPE you do this, it's way beyond well worth it, Mark

Paul Lara   {K:82893} 7/8/2007
Just so I don't seem completely clueless, Mark, when I replied, I was *thinking* Catalog and not fashion.
You're absolutely right.

Oh, and thanks for the heads up on such an extraordinary savings! The book is on its WAY!
(...without having to dig into my equipment fund)

...interesting visual effect!!!
