Nicely done, John. Looks like the textured background was there in the first place and then your creative ways made it into a frame. And such a cool plant or flower or like you say, whatever it is... very similar to some of the strange things I see in the desert.

Beautiful creative work, John!! I think it’s little too busy, to many ellements had taken great attention from its primary (The flower) especially the design frame and the rough wall patterns are part of it plus here I think another suggestion shooting above f11 will add more depth
