yes, i like it again; "imagination is not a crime" perfect for your kind of work Patrick; perhaps i miss here a touch of color, i can see a deep red on the canvas, as in a Miro's painting, cheers....txules

Actually, Txules, it says 'Migration is not a crime'. Thanks for your comment.

LOL! I think it is quite hard to read, so I didn't get the joke! In any case, I like the inference... that I have an imagination! My brain will be very pleased.

Annemette Rosenborg Eriksen   {K:55401} 7/9/2007
A serious message and plea that has a cute touch due to the Paddington Bear. I wonder how it would appear abroad though in one of the former colonies...

Patrick Crowther   {K:13570} 7/9/2007
Well that wasn't migration, Annemette, that was colonisation! Big difference! As far as I'm concerned, the cultural diversity that migration brings is a great thing... but I wish our new Prime Minister would be more specific and encourage lots of Italian females to relocate to Oxford!

Annemette Rosenborg Eriksen   {K:55401} 7/9/2007
I know it´s a big difference but nontheless a funny idea!
I enjoy cultural diversity when people are tolerant and behave civilized and don´t try to change the land they have migrated to. Those people add a lot of good to any nation.
Yes, I think you would even let yourself be tickled if only an Italian woman did it to you;-)

Patrick Crowther   {K:13570} 7/9/2007
Gawd, people are free to change a lot with regards the UK as far as I'm concerned... no, I totally agree... just so long as people are cool with each other I'm all for a big 'melting pot' of cultures.

another sad poem sucked out of an old landscape that has been written on a million times.. love the sadness it brings to the eye of a believer.. agree with you and Anne re migration except in the case of the seppos who havent got a clue

Una composizione e un bianco e nero molto belli.
