hahahah... great excuse for a beach moment... I should have used something like that too...

Please stop with the beach pictures... my resistance is wearing down and it is taking everything I have to remember I can't take time to drive to the Oregon beach. Now stop.

:)

Yes YOU can Dave !!! Now is much better than March or last time you thought you wanted to :)) We are having tropical weather now--- they said it was 100 degree's at Cannon Beach which is like 50 miles north but it was only about 80 degrees's here and now it's about 65 degrees just balmy at least inside ...haha!!!!!!!!

Thank YOU for the cool comment my dear :))

Michele Carlsen   {K:133640} 7/11/2007
Thank YOU my dear Srna for your kind comments ...I looked at the image hoping it would look "HOT" to me...but nope :(( It just didn't have the right look even though it felt very nice . I think I would need lots of people in bathing suits or at least one person ...ha!!! I do love your latest HOT image tho :))

Hugs,
Michele~

John Hatz   {K:143808} 7/11/2007
Very good shot my friend...really the present of that tiny human is veeeery strong...for its size into your frame, he/she adds a lot even he'she looks like being in...a couple of miles away!!! :-D

Very beautiful this beach must be! And a good option for black and white highlighting the shapes and contrasts, and the different tones!

Michele Carlsen   {K:133640} 7/11/2007
Thank YOU soooooooo much dear Joao... black and white is new to me...but I notice that most all of the BEST Photographers seem to use it the most so I am trying to grow more , and I appreciate your kind comment.

Annemette Rosenborg Eriksen   {K:55401} 7/11/2007
What a terrific one, Michele- the composition, the tones and light, the lonely person out there enjoying the elements after maybe climbing down those steps. No wonder it is your personal favourite!!
Take care
Annemette
PS: Wonderful for you having a heatwave- we only have rain and rain and rain

Michele Carlsen   {K:133640} 7/11/2007

Michele Carlsen   {K:133640} 7/11/2007
Thank YOU dear Annemette... the weather is all CRAZY everywhere ..I am soooo sorry to hear of your weather as I know how much You too love the warm and sunny weather.... It was actually 85 degree's on the beach yesterday which I can count how many days this has happened in 15 yrs on one hand...Today we have fog but it's warm as the heat is locked in the valley but geezzzzzz the TRAFFIC does not stop coming !!!!!!!!
It's summer at the beach and it's vacation time ... I would feel like this too if I didn't live here and drive in the traffic for a living ....Now my job is no FUN...It's very stressful :((

Best wishes,
Michele~

It was 104 in Salem on Tuesday, but only upper 80's today, but staying over 84 in my little computer room. Whew! We spent a week at Gleneden Beach when I was a teenager...one of the happiest times of my life. Of course, I've spent many, many happy times at our beaches, but never again at Gleneden.

Very nice photo, dear Michele.:)

Michele Carlsen   {K:133640} 7/13/2007
Why thank YOU so very much Mojgan..... I appreciate your enthusiasism and support my friend !!!
All the Best,
Michele~

Michele Carlsen   {K:133640} 7/13/2007
It seems to get hotter and colder both in Salem but I love that little city...It is the perfect little city IMO ...except for the extreme weather parts !! I was at Pacific City Beach today and it looked like Miami beach almost ...ha!! Tons of people & temps about 75-80 degree's sooooo nice since we are ususally in the high 50's low 60's :((

Thank YOu for the kind comment Shirley .

Shirley D. Cross   {K:141801} 7/13/2007
Yes, it does get hotter and colder here, but still not as extreme as many other places. Pretty nice here in the Valley. That's funny about Pacific City looking like Miami Beach...haha.

You're welcome, dear Michele.:)

Annemette Rosenborg Eriksen   {K:55401} 7/15/2007
No I understand why you hate all this traffic! Canīt you apply for one of those maschines to have on your back with little propellas on it?*LOL*

Michele Carlsen   {K:133640} 7/16/2007
Lol !!! Now that IS A BRILLIANT idea dear Annemette -haha!!! I will do that today :)))

The Pilgrim   {K:32128} 7/19/2007
This is really a great composition and view Michele and I just love how you fought off the temptation of going with colors. Im thinking you really must have fought with yourself on that one.....Unless this is one of those no brainers when you see them side by side but this image stands so well as black and white....Super work!
And to think you were not stacking up lately!
Nonsense! :)
7+++++++++
Great

Much Love

Paul

Michele Carlsen   {K:133640} 7/20/2007
Thank YOU Paul You know me well ...I did have to fight myself to get away from not using the color version ....It was stressful .....haha !!!!!

I value your in-put but I have noticed you jumping around sooooooo I got a couple of images that I really wish were not up there- that sepia cliff, rock scene is embarrassing -Lol!!!!!!!!! Oh well this is school here for me and by doing the crummy ones I learn much more but the cost is humiliating a bit :))) the price is right thou:)))
Thank YOu so much for your time my friend.

Love,
Michele~
