I believe the color inversion would look somewhat the same because the two colors are complimentary. Nice effect in black and white, looks familiar but unusual.

Plenty of these leafy plants at the Botanical Gardemns where we recently paid a visit! I wish I could keep them at home, but it is not easy - not exactly shadow, but not full sunshine.....too much bother!You managed an extraordinary effect here in B&W!I'd say it has more impact that the original colour shot! Anyway, I like the result!
