That might be too harsh a comment. I wonder maybe if he is remembering his own youth, a memory, or just simply admiring the youth and beauty of the girls without those sorts of thoughts. Would you let them go past without having a look.. think about the pictures taken, I wonder also then if you are asking who is the predator, photographer or old man in the image? Still a very thought provoking series of images with that title.

You're never too old to look, Paolo!
Dave.

Dave Brown   {K:1267} 7/13/2007
Absolutely perfect sequence, just great. All the best, Dave

Paolo Barthelemy   {K:24873} 7/13/2007
Thanks, Mike (your comment rated good)!
The first intention for the title was "A man is always a man" but I found that too clear...too obvious.
So I've decided to change it in order to leave a bit of space to immagination even if the reason why I've captured the series was the forecast of what would have happened from that situation. This is why I've assigned it the "Humor" category...not a dramatic one.
Nonetheless, you're perfectly right about who might be the predator and I agree with your considerations.
I love when people stop, look and go beyond what appears at first glance.
Thanks again!
Best regards, Paolo

Paolo Barthelemy   {K:24873} 7/13/2007
You're right, Dave!
There's always a predator inside us...
Thanks, Paolo

Paolo Barthelemy   {K:24873} 7/13/2007
Thanks, Dave B.!
The last image might have been enough but I think that three frames work as well.
Best regards, Paolo

Very nice.
Great way to leave people thinking.
Wonderful expressions and body language.

Gary Hill   {K:31539} 7/13/2007
The triptych works well. I agree with Mike and wouldn't consider him to be a predator either, just an admirer of the female form. if the sexes were changed you probably wouldn't consider a woman as predator. Anyway, nice selection of images that tell a story.
Regards, Gary

Melisa Meyers   {K:9532} 7/13/2007
Fantastic moment and I think that even if he were a predator (which of course we all agree he is not) these two athletic build girls could probably whip him. :) It is definately a pondering moment he is having. Wonderful sequence!

Anne Knes   {K:47193} 7/13/2007
Excellent -

sascha jonack   {K:17660} 7/14/2007

Mike Frakes   {K:3349} 7/15/2007
Yeah, I can't say that as a red blooded Aussie I haven't had longer looks on the odd, and possibly even moments.. I didn't even see the humour category, but that fits. I think I took the image a little personally for the old guy in it. I can see what you were trying to achieve, and you did it quite well!!

ventrix drogo   {K:59593} 7/16/2007
