Is this the result of one of your spells? Some poor soul trapped in a log forever?!

Patrick Crowther   {K:13393} 7/14/2007
I'm not sure that counts as a 'real critique', but it will have to do. The few times I put one of my photos in Critiques Corner, all I got was 'nice cap**re'... oh God....

Annemette Rosenborg Eriksen   {K:55797} 7/14/2007
Yes my magic does many things - beware that I don“t trap you in a log with eyebrowdreadlocks so I can do with you what I wish for:-O

Annemette Rosenborg Eriksen   {K:55797} 7/14/2007
Good that u reminded me of this, Crow- you all naked and trapped in a log while I chant Niceeeee caaaptureeee nnnniiiiccceee caapturrrreeee

Patrick Crowther   {K:13393} 7/14/2007
Oh I don't mind... go on then. But could you let me have a radio or a newspaper in there with me? I fear I might get bored staring at ants and earwigs all day long...

Patrick Crowther   {K:13393} 7/14/2007
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!No!

Minoo  S.   {K:12130} 7/14/2007
Hi Annemette! This is quite an idea. Very interesting piece of work.
I just happened to see your prize winning photo. Congratulations. I am very happy for you.
Have a great weekend, and I hope the illness you describe in the picture has nothing to do with you.
Take care,
Minoo

Patrick Crowther   {K:13393} 7/14/2007
You're very good at this layers stuff... I haven't got a clue about all that, which is shameful, really. All I do is use photoshop like a darkroom. You'll have to give me lessons...

Annemette Rosenborg Eriksen   {K:55797} 7/14/2007
Sorry? I didn“t quite catch that?

Patrick Crowther   {K:13393} 7/14/2007
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! No!

Annemette Rosenborg Eriksen   {K:55797} 7/14/2007
I just learned it myself two days ago, but sure I“ll teach you kekeke(learned that gnęglaughter from down under)

Patrick Crowther   {K:13393} 7/14/2007
That's Roger's laugh... I prefer yours.

Annemette Rosenborg Eriksen   {K:55797} 7/14/2007
Oh you know his laughter?*LOL* I“ll continue with my own then:-)

Annemette Rosenborg Eriksen   {K:55797} 7/14/2007
What is that tiny antsound in my ear?? Hmm probably nothing importnat, so I“d better continue looking at all the nice captures on UF WUAHAHAHA

Annemette Rosenborg Eriksen   {K:55797} 7/14/2007
Thank you very much, dear Minoo. It is always a pleasure having you comment on my photos:-)
Unfortunately the illness is mine, but nevertheless I find myself being cheerful enough to goof around with my dear friend Patrick:-) We must seem like lunatics on UF, but it“s so refreshing having some good laughter:-)
Take care and enjoy your weekend

Patrick Crowther   {K:13393} 7/14/2007
Aww, Annemette, are you not feeling well? Sorry to hear that. I hope you feel better soon... an old woman once told me that sprinkling dogdrool on toast works wonders!

Ian Miller   {K:8729} 7/14/2007
Hi Annie,
This looks familliar, lol. It's like I've seen it before, or somehting very much like it. ;-)

Ian

Jeff Sanders   {K:1581} 7/14/2007
Nice idea. Do you have the color version ? If so the color of her eyes might contrast nicely with the wood. The only other thing, did you over sharpen the eye or was that done on purpose for an effect? Anyway, great idea, best regards, jeff

Minoo  S.   {K:12130} 7/14/2007
Hi Annemette,
I am sorry to learn that you are ill. Hope you'll recover very soon (but please do not take the 'magic potion' suggested by Patrick, or you'll get worse :))
I happened to read some of your comments and I can sense how much fun you are having. I can see that the two of you have great sense of humor and incredible imagination. I envy you :)
Have a great weekend and look after yourself,
Minoo

Annemette Rosenborg Eriksen   {K:55797} 7/14/2007
:-) That will surely work better than any advice my socalled expert, the cardiologist, gives me, but I“m actually quite picky, so drool on toast...?N Nayeeee I“ll brew sth. special out of my bones and add some of your hair*LOL*

Annemette Rosenborg Eriksen   {K:55797} 7/14/2007
Oh yes? Well I did do sth. with my eye on another occasion through a door though:-) So many photos so it“s hard to keep track of them, or did u think of another one? Anyway thanks for looking:-)
X
Annemette

Dirk Noort   {K:9412} 7/14/2007
Awesome!!
Dirk.

Avi     {K:67635} 7/15/2007
Excellent thinking.. but what happened to you, Anne ??

alessandro reggiani   {K:4389} 7/15/2007
the mysterious eye.. why is he trapped? or is he shy?
well done and the b/w is very evocative in the picture
alessandro

Annemette Rosenborg Eriksen   {K:55797} 7/15/2007
THank you dear Avi- oh let“s just say that I“m not healthy. THanks for your concern, dear friend:-)

Annemette Rosenborg Eriksen   {K:55797} 7/15/2007
THank you dear Al- yes indeed trapped.

Annemette Rosenborg Eriksen   {K:55797} 7/15/2007
Dearest Minoo
THank you so much for your words of concern. I also hope to get better soon in one way or the other, but any magic potion of Crows I“ll surely watch out for*LOL*
I“m glad that you don“t regard us as lunatics but friends indeed having fun and using our crazy imagination:-)
Take care

Annemette Rosenborg Eriksen   {K:55797} 7/15/2007
THank you Jeff! Yes I have the colourversion but not on this PC though. I did sharpen the image but maybe I shouldn“t have done that.

Minoo  S.   {K:12130} 7/15/2007
Dear Annemette,
Thanks very much for your reply. I am so glad you have such a great morale. It is really important for your health. I hope whatever the illness is, goes away quickly.
As to your having fun in your exchanges with your friend, I must say that it is nobody's business what you write to him. And you do not owe anyone any explanation whatsoever. You have a healthy and friendly chat with your friend, and that is wonderful. Few people are able to do this and in this world we need such things to go on.
The last bit of my today's message: just took the photo this evening, thinking of your wonderful photograph.
Please look after yourself and give us the great news that you are 100% well again. I am waiting t hear that!
Warmest wishes,
Minoo

Minoo  S.   {K:12130} 7/15/2007
Sorry Annemette, I pushed the button too quickly. Here is the pic.

Ian Miller   {K:8729} 7/16/2007
Yes, it reminded me of the Crocodile Eye, that was actually a piece of wood. ;-)

Nice work and prose all the same.

Ian

Annemette Rosenborg Eriksen   {K:55797} 7/16/2007
Oh Ian- you said it before I had time to- I remembered your croceye all of a sudden and knew then what you were talking about:-)

Annemette Rosenborg Eriksen   {K:55797} 7/16/2007
Thank you very much, Minoo. It is so very kind of you to support this craziness:-) Indeed we need friendships and laughter - something that we tend to forget in our busy part of the world where you need to plan visits instead of just popping by.
Your photo is very accurate and matches so well how I feel inside of my head and body these days. The world is out there beautiful and waiting, but I can merely watch it from within a closed dizzy world. Thank you for this, Minoo. You are a sweetheart:-)
Take care
