This is a sad image for me... I think I know where this stems from. But as is so often the case, creativity springs from pain and hurt... a warm hug from me.

Most of your work warms me and lets me FLY! Yet some of it, scares the crap out of me. lol. This piece, although it has amazing eyes, freaks me out a bit. ;-)

You look as if you're made of coral. I especially like the growth on your nose. But I am concerned about you after reading your 'about' and Patrick's comment. Hope you are okay...

THanks for your concern, Shirley. I´m not doing so well these days, but hopefully I´ll get better during the summer. Although a happy spirit I´m also a soft dreamer that has had my heart broken my a friend dear to me and that has ruined my health.

I am so sorry, dear Annemette. I do hope you find peace and joy again and that your health will improve.:) I understand sorrow very well, having lost first my father, then my husband, then going through a difficult long-distance love affair.

Oh that hurts - such sorrow will never go away but is something that we must learn to live with, Shirley. Losing your husband so early-- what a nightmare. I can´t even start to tell you how sorry I am to hear that. Your soulmate gone forever leaving you alone to continue life. One really learns to appreciate life though. I lost my own father two years ago much too early in life. That was/is hard but fortunately I bounce back well. I lost my cousin aged 26, my home burnt down, my bird through 12 years died etc. etc. So much has happened over the past couple of years which shows how fragile life is and how tough growing up can be. Still life is wonderful, so let´s embrace it!:-)

Oh yes, my dear Annemette. I am not so young as you, I'll be 61 in August, but even though I've known much sorrow, I also know much joy and delight. I am open to all that life has to offer.:)

You are a goofball! I like that :)
You know what I really like about this is the way you left the eyes untouched. It makes them stand out so much and gives it a real appeal. That is some artwork, though.
Best to ya, Dave
