This is a view from the rear terrace of the mansion. To the left are miles of specialized gardens segmented by horticultural category.
Can you imagine walking out in the morning with a cup of coffee to sit and read the paper with this view?

I can! Although I am an informal, asymmetrical kind of "girl", the beauty of formal gardens never cease to amaze me...thanks for sharing it Jan.

Thanks for the comment also, greatly appreciated!

Take care...Robin

Robin -- Asymmetry, symmetry, this place had it all. The garden layouts were quite eccentric.
