Great macro, beautiful composition. I really like the flow of the colours and the gentle feeling they convey.

Bill -- This image has a lot going for it. The dew-covered fly, the droplets forming near the end of the leaf, the leaf's gentle slop, and that little triangle formed beneath the fly's bottom by the leaf and the two counter sloping diagonal background elements. I think the color contrast added by leaf's drying tip nicely balances the fly and adds some real value as to visual interest.

Regards,
-Mike.

Bill -- LOL! I really should read for misused words before I hit enter . . . I left the "e" off "slop" in my above comment. I meant to say slope, not slop. But on the other hand, if'n a leaf is'a gona slop, it ought’a do it gently . . .

Sorry,
-Mike )

Hey Mike - Thanks for taking the time to really look at this image and comment about it. To be truthful, the dew was really wet that morning and I was very "sloppy" when I returned with this image. Glad you like it. One of my recent favorites too.

Cheers - Bill
