No kidding hard to find anything for FREE these days . It is a narrow part on the river but saves a ton of time & many miles for people traveling east to west or vise -versa Capt midnight-thirty ...I like it > Your ever changing names :)) They are actually pretty cool- and I don't have to work until Thurs.
Yayhe !!!!! My first 2 days off at once since Maui trip...

That's very cheap!!A very colorful picture Michele.I like the beautiful reflection!How long time it needs to go from the one side to the other one Michele?Not very long I suppose.Excellent shot with great details and a good composition.

It does not take long to cross the river... but you are right it's a major savings as people would most certainly pay much more for this-in fact my friend thought we were paying $2 - and we were FREE :))

Drive at least 100 miles in any direction you can. It must be a place you have not photographed. Photograph the heck out of whatever it is you choose. Determine a theme you will focus on. If you are in a town, doors, windows and architecture. If you are in a rural area, landscapes.

Do I have to drive if I go WEST ?
Other-wise great assignment -
First day off- today is nap time--I don't function on 3 hrs. sleep at all- or even 6 hrs. I need 8...and I haven't been getting it with thhis moon........
But tomorrow is a new day - except I need to do house-work , laundry , bla, bla, but plan to do the assignment for at least 1/2 a day .
Do Not Explode ... it's the best I can do at this late notice.

Hi dear Shirley- Now You have a place to fo check out - I wouldn't know half the places in Salem but my friend also lived in Salem all of his life and he has a drift boat so he knows never-ending little spots...
I can find out where it is - if you ever want to go there - just let me know. I did try to live in Salem last year for about 3 months but could NOT live with him- as the man /woman 'friendship impossibility :((
We decided just to remain friends so I left :))
