This is a combination of two photos. I was shooting at 150 shutter to capture the bird portion. It was enough to get the wing details but there was still a slight movement blurr on the edges of his wings. I shot this on my 300 mm and I believe I was at 5.4 but I can't remember for sure. (I am an amatuer who is still guessing!) :) I added a hue/brightness adjustment to give a stronger silohuette. I placed this under photoart because of these combining added features.

Hi Melisa,
Thanks for the additional info. I was suspecting it was a photoart but didn't want to jump to conclusions. It's very nice.... it has that eye appeal with the colours and form.

that is great Melisa, well hummingbirds are lots BUT under that lighting conditions????? I don't think there is one more photo like yours and that makes your shot amazing and exctremely original for me, and that worths a lot dear Melisa, excellent of course.
