I think it is a homophobic societal thing here in North America where as boys in the school system, we are trained by peers not to show affection and caring to others or be labeled. It is unfortunate as this is a hard thing to open up later in life when it is required in relationships and now that we are no longer needing to be the tough guys that don't cry in the wildwest.

Hahaha!!! Well, I know from my own experience as a very romantic woman that it takes very little to make most women happy, if men would just realize that. One man that I wasn't particularly interested in at first won my heart completely by sending me a beautiful love song. I melted!

yep, well i am doing my best and will keep this in mind. She is gives me reminders once in a while and i am happy to accommodate her and even surprise once in a while on my own accord. The inner caveman is coming out of his pedantic self interest in order to please her and myself as well....who knew? The wisdom of failed past relationships...ha-ha
