About Originally shot in RAW. Shot at F8 for 1/250 second. ISO 100, focal length 18mm. The only post-camera work I did was to remove a tiny amount of vingetting from the lens in PS.

I just got back from Bermuda and was amazed by the natural beauty there. The black rocks, the turquoise water and the salmon-pink sand contrasted beautifully. I am trying to get out of my macro mode a bit, and take some super-wide shots. Any advice is welcome. Thanks for looking.

A challenging assignment, beautifully completed to retain enough detail in the rocks while capturing the delicate texture of the clouds. Only one tiny question on mind: should the little rock crescent in the foreground have been cropped out or not? On balance I think you did the right thing by including it!

Hello Gervias,

I had worried about the rock being a distraction, and since a few other people felt the same way, I have taken it out.

Here is the updated photo, I hope you like it. I have reposted this photo as a new image in my portfolio as well.

Thank you for your advice!

Regards,
Laura
