About This is a repost of my previous image. I was concerned about the rock in the foreground, and sure enough, several people had mentioned that it was distracting (Thank you Gervais). I cloned it out in PS, and also used Nikon Capture NX to bring up the light on the rocks a bit in order to bring out more detail.

Originally shot in RAW. Shot at F8 for 1/250 second. ISO 100, focal length 18mm. The only post-camera work I did was to remove a tiny amount of vingetting from the lens in PS.

I just got back from Bermuda and was amazed by the natural beauty there. The black rocks, the turquoise water and the salmon-pink sand contrasted beautifully. I am trying to get out of my macro mode a bit, and take some super-wide shots. Any advice is welcome. Thanks for looking.

Realmente mejora eliminando esos detalles molestos, la foto es espléndida y muy luminosa.
Un abrazo!

...yes that is better for me as you makes the rocks viewed better with good details, better lighting on the dark areas and at the same time the bright areas looks again very good!!! hmmm....it ok with the rock at the bottom or not, the place is great and so the water spray from the wave spashes...

Complimenti....Ciao....Walter

Good morning Laura, this is a great picture, but I would preferred to center the two rocks (means move the camera little bit on right).. contrast is ok (sand, sea, sky in perfect harmony), so well executed...very warm colors(the best one). I have appreciated your review on my pic, thx ;)
