About Another flower from our garden last fall. It's interesting, I find that I can relate to the flowers much better with a small camera rather than with my SLRs - it's a head thing. This shot was taken with a little Sony T5 that replaces the Sony U20 that I finally wore out a while back. Even though this picture was taken with a pocket camera, the 18 X 24 inch print looks great.

In fact, the print is so good that it was chosen to hang in the Everson Museum of Art as part of the "On My Own Time" exhibit. And to think I almost rejected this shot on the first pass.

You sure are right Jim, it's not the camera, it's the photographer. Great colours, exposure and focus on this one. The textures of florals can be quite interesting, this one has it, best regards, Art.

Jim, I am so glad for a chance to see your pictures! They are very, very beautiful photos.
I love flowers photos and I try to make some, but without your talent, of course.
If you let me, I'll make you one of my favorites.
Thank you for sharing.
