Remember the movie The Illustrated Man, where he tells several stories as the young man looks at his tattoos and they come alive? (Love that film!) Well this reminds me of the story of the planet where it rained all the time and everything turned to fungus, except for the stations where they had artificual sunlight. Not sure why it made me think of that...maybe the unearthly green and the flare on the monolith... Anyway, I like this very much, Rick!:)
