What a wonderful, expressive portrait. Beautiful in sepia.

Beautiful portrait! Great point of view, nice BW!

Love this natural expression, but in my opinion seems the capture is unusual surprising of how Jeanette’s photographical standards and creativity has truly change... and not seeing the obvious of this capture!!!
Cheers,
Harry

Well Jeanette . . . always something unique from you! I like this. I think it's an interesting choice to not have her looking directly at you (a much more candid 'feel') and certainly a creative POV emphasized by a well chosen DOF. A natural expression and a unique presentation. Nice work.

Regards,
Doyle I <~~~~~

Nice angle choosen Jeanette. The DOF is well seen, perhaps a little bit disturbing on the foreground, but well done in the background.
THis is well composed.
Cheers

Otro gran retrato Jeanette!!. Bravo.M.

Excellent street portrait. The only thing I would have adjusted would have been at the bottom to make the elbow less apparent in the foreground, otherwise, well done. Dave :)

Hello Harry! I´m very very curious to know what you mean by: "but in my opinion seems the capture is unusual surprising of how Jeanette’s photographical standards and creativity has truly change". Changed from yo to ...??? If you mean the elbow ... or less abstract??? I simply don´t know. I still make abstracts from time to time but have less time for those more "arty" works.... ;-)

Andrzej Pradzynski   {K:20624} 8/12/2007
Jeanette, I love portraits with a smile, the big smiles unposed - like the one here - taken in natural environment and in casual style. I wonder why so many portraiture work try to avoid full smile. Is it less expressive than any dramatic, nostalgic or provocative poses often highly honored in fine arts. The one is truly great, simple and charming. Cheers, NJ

Hi Jeanette! No offence… it's my pickiness...I guess my personal criticism thought this capture has a defect (The elbow) which easy to see it!!! Also some of your latest posting was not what was expecting …any way sorry if I offend you. It’s a photographer’s view!
Cheers,
Harry

Jeanette Hägglund   {K:59694} 8/13/2007
HI there again, you do´t offend me at all. I have always loved to go over "the line". to explore and not follow the photographic rules. As a former teacher in photography i knowing them too well and also getting tired of them.... There will be more "misstakes" since i know to put them in ;)
