oh my!!!!!! So friendly??????? Well i remember once at our port there was lot of gulls (at the period the polish let us takes shots...agggrrrrr) the gulls was very wild and you cannot be closer that....200 meters hahaha....only as they flying and try to "land" to the water to catch the fish ...IF you was very lucky that could be at...50 meters... BUT a shot like that with 55mm????? SUPER!!! Of course I believe you pay him with something to eat as being your ....model....hahahahaha messing with you because I'm so jeluse and green right now, I love gulls, I believe that is the ultimate sympol of freedom...
anyway...the shot is really amazing and personaly I don't care about the...little bit overexpose (the sun angle looks like don't works here well for you) ...but I don't mind, the shot is amazing, at the end IF I CAN I TAKE A PHOTO BETTER THAN YOU.....hahaha I bet I already have lost that bet!
Excellent dear Michele, an amazing image.....hmmmm perchaps you are a very good person and so the gulls does not afread you...but when they see me..........................

It seems to me that this seagull is very big!!!A good shot of her and the little bird in the background!!! A very excellent lighting and a good composition Michele!!

Not only luck Michele, you must be very slow to your movements to be closed to that, and you need lot of tries and time for that...and I don't have that....hahahahaha....I'm always want the good photo now...and blows everything...:-D

Hi Nicki, Thank YOU for the comment on my Big seagull- she is pretty Big but also I was so close to her .....no more than 2 arm lengths away and I was trying for a close up :)) I lucked out on the lighting , and she was a good model ,she liked getting her picture taken - haha!!

You are right John - no fast and quick movements or the subject leaves the scenario too :)) I just kept tossing food and had her come closer and was ready for the shot- hoping all the while I would get a chance - & I did but I took abiut 6 shots to get the one decent one ---haha!
Oh the joys of shooting nature :))
