About I went on my own to Lisboa one day where it was very hot. I actually was about to pass out in a store and managed to get outside and then sat down beside a beggar. I was simply dehydrated. Anyway I drank a lot and after a while I managed to get up and take some more photos:-)
I liked this scenery.

Annemette Rosenborg Eriksen   {K:55404} 8/12/2007
Hi John:-) Glad you like this funny shot and yes, the dog did get away!

Leonie Fitzpatrick   {K:40416} 8/12/2007
:))) Love this Annemette... All the angles and curves create a visual conundrum... My eyes ~~GRIN~~ are jumping... Lots of depth and the tramcar coming up the hill looks like a cardboard cutout... The colours are sun and time faded... The little dog is on the move, the knees to the left make me wonder *who*...

Lots of great scramble in this...:)))

Onie...

Annemette Rosenborg Eriksen   {K:55404} 8/12/2007
Dear Onie
I was so amazed by all these small tramcars called sporvogne in Danish. We got rid of them before I was born, but I wish we still had them.
THanks for your as always good comment:-)

Patrick Crowther   {K:13570} 8/12/2007
Good thing your dog wasn't with you... the streets would have been turned into a lake of dogdrool... the tram would have become a boat.

Nicole Besch   {K:54538} 8/12/2007
Hi Annemette nice to see you back!!!! Hope that your vacation was nice:))I bet this dog is running all day this way along and he is know by the drivers from the tramcars..LOL!
Very well seen,hugs to you,Nicole

Annemette Rosenborg Eriksen   {K:55404} 8/12/2007
Yep somehow I have a feeling that all this rain and moist isn´t caused by any climatechange - it´s caused by Sir Henry´s drool.;-)

Annemette Rosenborg Eriksen   {K:55404} 8/12/2007
Dear Nicole
NIce hearing from u again:-)Yes, I´m sure this and other dogs are used to the traffic and vice versa.
Take care and thanks I did have a wonderful vacation both in Portugal and Sweden- soon I´ll go to Norway as well. I wish it was Canada though u lucky girl:-)
Take care and I hope you´re doing much better

luis pereira   {K:18790} 8/12/2007
I've seen lots of photographs in this area of Lisbon but this one is a little special and I'm not sure why. I got some shots myself but before the graffiti. Dehydrated in Lisbon? That had to be your fault. My problem was the opposite. Thanks for posting Annemette.

Annemette Rosenborg Eriksen   {K:55404} 8/12/2007
*LOL* THanks Pietro
Ciao

Annemette Rosenborg Eriksen   {K:55404} 8/12/2007
Maybe because of the man with no face on the left and the dog? Anyway I´m delighted to hear that you find it interesting:-)
Dehydrated yes and indeed my own fault getting into a store to buy water too late...no beerdrinking though which might have caused you to not dehydrate*LOL*

Fernando Machado   {K:416} 8/12/2007
Hi,Annemette,

what you think about my country! :)
I hope you like it,
This photo is from a beautiful called "Bairro da Bica"I have one photo in my portfolio from this place.

Now I go in vacations to,but I go to the north of Portugal.

Annemette Rosenborg Eriksen   {K:55404} 8/12/2007
Hi Fernando:-) Yes, I thought about your words of advice and I went to Lisboa to this district of town remembering your words and I also went to Sintra twice:-)I saw Estoril and Cascais which were not that interesting but I really enjoyed Lisboa- a beautiful city mixed with old and new. I did have some weird experiences there walking around on my own that day, but all in all I liked it very much.Sintra was as u said absolutely enchanting. I couldn´t get enough of that place wanting to spend weeks there exploring the parks/forest especially!:-)
THank you for your advice. Oh so you´re going to the northern part? THat is where I was in a "regression" and from the plane I "recognized" the area- long story and crazy!
Have a wonderful time up north- I would personally love to see Braga.
Take care
Annemette
